You don’t have to be elected to make change! If you have a specific issue you’d like to address, you can set up a student-led campaign!

A campaign can be ANYTHING that aims to make a positive change and comes in many forms including; petitions, lobbying, demonstrations and letter writing! A campaign simply to raise awareness is NOT a campaign!

So what really matters to YOU? Equality, pollution, mental health? During your time here at the University of Hull YOU really can make a difference!

But…..What makes an idea a Campaign?

Here is a list of things your campaign MUST achieve/cover…If you haven’t got ALL these elements included in your campaign plan you maybe need to go back to the drawing board…

C reating change that will have a positive impact on people’s lives.

H olding organisations/departments/individuals to account

A ctivist activity

N ot just raising awareness!!!

G athering evidence to justify a need to campaign

E nd results and outcomes are a MUST
