“Caitlin O’Neill, the HUU Sports Officer, will be leaving HUU in February 2018 in order to take up a professional role in London, as Sales Development Representative at PatSnap UK. Caitlin was elected in our March 2017 elections and has been HUU Sports Officer since June 2017. Osaro Otobo, the HUU President, will now take a lead on sport activities including Varsity 2018 which will be hosted here in Hull in March. In addition, Salman Anwar will work closely with the Faculty of Business, Law and Politics reps to provide Faculty link support. The officer team will work with HUU staff, and the AU Executive, to identify any areas where additional staff resource is required and ensure that the student experience is not impacted.

Caitlin said “I’ve been proud to serve as HUU Sports Officer since June, it’s an exciting time for sport at the University of Hull and it’s been great to be a part of that. I’m very sad to be leaving now but this opportunity is just too good to turn down. The training and development I’ve had in my role have provided me with a solid foundation for my new job. ”.

We would like to thank Caitlin for her contribution to HUU and wish her success in her new venture.
