Black History Month is a month of events which celebrates the culture, history and achievements of African and Caribbean communities.
Here at HUU, we've organised a range of diverse events to celebrate Black cultures, Black role models and achievements of Black people, so join us at HUU to celebrate Black History Month!
From Give It A Go Trips around Hull’s Wilberforce Museum, an African Drumming Workshop, to live performances from HUU Societies, Black History Month at HUU is set to be amazing!
Here is a timetable of all the fantastic things going on in Week 4;

- Tuesday 24th | Lecture by Dr Tunde “Who is Black Anyway” | 2pm-3pm | Meeting Room 6 | HUU
- Friday 27th | Hekima Asilia – Singing/Musical Performance | 12.30pm-1pm | HUU
- Saturday 28th | GIAG The Freedom Trail Guided Tour | 12pm | City Hall – Hull City Centre | £2 | Book tickets online or @ HUU Reception.
