You don’t have to be elected to make change! If you have a specific issue you’d like to address, you can set up a campaign.
A campaign can be anything that aims to make a positive change and comes in many forms, such as petitions, lobbying, demonstrations and letter writing.
However, a campaign needs a specific aim – to simply raise awareness is not a campaign!
What makes an idea a campaign? CHANGE:
Creating change that will have a positive impact on people’s lives
Holding organisations/departments/individuals to account
Not just raising awareness
End results and outcomes
