Our societies represent a wide range of interests, from the extra curricular to the downright whacky. With the likes of Debating Society, Performing Arts and even a Come Dine with Me Society, there’s likely to be something out there that tickles your fancy. Society Points are a great way for societies gain recognition and accreditation! Working towards their Bronze, Silver and Gold awards, points are awarded to societies for simple requirements such as holding executive team meetings, to more complex activities like holding an international trip or event.
Points are divided into six categories so our societies can see which areas they excel in, and will be collated throughout the year. Depending on their points, socieities will be awarded a Bronze, Silver or Gold award at the end of the year. There is also the opportunity for one society that has particularly impressed the SEC and the VPA to be awarded a Platinum award!
Society Points encourages good practice and interesting activities to make members enjoy the year as much as possible! Gold, Silver and Bronze awards are proof to current and potential members of how amazing societies are!
