Election season is here soon and we will be electing the following positions:

    • Student Officers (full-time paid positions): President, Vice-President Education, Vice-President Welfare & Community, Vice-President Activities, Vice-President Sport
    • Part-time Officers (e.g. Mature Students Officer, International Students Officer, PGR and PGT Students Officers and many more)
    • All 4 Faculty Reps
    • All School Reps

Everyone elected in this election will start their role in September for the new academic year 2017/18.

Nominations will be open between 8th-15th March online. Voting will be open between 20th-24th March online as well.

Being a student representative is a great opportunity for you to implement change, have an impact and improve students’ experiences regardless of whether you are a full-time or part-time Officer.

Unsure about running or which position to go for? We are holding information sessions for interested candidates on the following dates:

    Tuesday, 14th February, 5pm, MR 3

    Monday, 27th February, 5pm, MR 6

Follow the above links for more information on the events and feel free to come along and ask any questions you may have. This is your chance to find out more about how to run a campaign.

Our Marketing Team will also be running drop-in sessions on March 9th and 16th where you can get advice on how to design and run your campaign.

You will also receive 1-2-1 support to help you plan your campaign and make the most of the elections period from our Returning Officer.
