Join Amazing Hull Tours as we close our Black History Month celebrations here at HUU with a fascinating tour around Hull City Centre to learn more about William Wilberforce and local history relating to Hulls links to civil rights, slavery and black history.
The tour begins at 12pm outside Hull City Hall in Queen Victoria Square and will work its' way through the centre of Hull, ending around 1.30pm at Wilberforce House in Hull's popular museum quarter where you will be able to spend time exploring the excellent museum alongside the Hull Streetlife Museum and Hull and East Riding Museum . Entry to all Hull museums is free. You will be guided by local historian Mike Covell.
Booking and Tickets
Book in advance online by clicking the link below, or in person from HUU reception Mon – Fri 10am – 4pm. Tickets on sale until either sell out or 3pm Friday 27th October 2017.
Tickets are only available to all registered Hull University Students and I.D will be asked for in the form of your University I.D card. You do not need a physical ticket for Semester 1 events as the tour guide will have a list of all attendees.
The cost of this trip is subsidised by the students' union by up to 50% using any profits from our commercial offering, so every time you shop in Spar, buy a coffee, pizza or sandwich from EATS or SANC or visit Asylum you are supporting the Give it a Go programme of events. We are a not for profit organisation re-investing all of our profit into services and opportunities for University of Hull students.
