This Give it a Go includes transport only, you will be dropped off in a central location and then collected again at this free outdoor arts festival. You will have free time to do whatever you would like, so as well as the spectacular offering from Leeds Night Light you might want to meet friends, go for a meal, or do some late night shopping at Leeds Trinity.
Leeds Light Night is an annual, free multi-arts and light festival in its’ 13th year, with spectacular centrepiece light projections and installations alongside street theatre which takes over Leeds City Centre on one Friday night in October.
It’s an amazing and unique opportunity to explore Leeds, providing people of all ages with a night to remember. For one night only the city centre will come alive with spectacular light projections, exhibitions, installations, film, dance, music, theatre and street performances. Find out more here.
Booking and Tickets
Book in advance online by clicking the link below (50p booking fee) or in person from HUU reception Mon – Fri 10am – 4pm. Tickets on sale until either sell out or 3pm Friday 6th October 2017.
Tickets are only available to all registered Hull University Students and I.D will be asked for in the form of your University I.D card when boarding the coach. You do not need a physical ticket for Semester 1 events as the trip leader will have a list of all attendees.
The cost of this trip is subsidised by the students' union by up to 50% using any profits from our commercial offering, so every time you shop in Spar, buy a coffee, pizza or sandwich from EATS or SANC or visit Asylum you are supporting the Give it a Go programme of events. We are a not for profit organisation re-investing all of our profit into services and opportunities for University of Hull students.
Transport from HUU: Please buy a ticket to depart from HUU. Meet at the Students' Union Reception at 4.45pm to travel to Leeds. The coach will leave Leeds at 11pm and will return to the Students' Union building.
Transport from the Lawns: Please buy a ticket to depart from The Lawns. Meet at the Lawns bus stop at 5pm to travel to Leeds. The coach will leave Leeds at 11pm and will return to The Lawns.
