R.A.G is Hull University's Raising and Giving Committee. Each year we hold Events and Raids to raise money for charitable causes while having a laugh, there is also a social once a month so that we can let our hair down and party in the name of R.A.G.!
Unlike most University R.A.G's we do not raise for a handful of selected charities each year instead we raise for a large range of different charities throughout the year. Therefore, if there is a charity that is close to your heart that you think deserves a donation then together we can make that happen! Just pop in and see us in the R.A.G. office situated in the Community Hub on the first floor of the Union Building or email us on hull_rag@hotmail.com.
Whether you are a first year or an existing student you should definitely join R.A.G. We are fun, sociable and out to enjoy ourselves! Whilst doing all of this we also raise money for fantastic charities!
Being an active member of R.A.G. is an incredible thing to have on your C.V. and we offer loads of opportunities for you to experience new exciting things. It is also a great way for you to get valuable work experience in areas such as Management, Events Management, Publicity, Web Design, Finance, Secretarial and Organisation skills.
All that can be said to sum up is GET INVOLVED, BE ENTHUSIASTIC and LET'S HAVE FUN!
