Kids

Area Coordinator: Kiel Oldfield

Unfortunately, we have no places on any of the Kids' Projects for semester two.  We do have places in the Older People, Disabilities and Education & Mentoring Areas.  For other volunteering opportunities, you can also go to www.hullstudent.com/vol to browse local organisations.

Volunteer Spec:

Volunteers in the Kids’ Area will need lots of enthusiasm, patience and boundless energy! You will need to be unflappable, able to relate well to children and have a sense of humour. You will also need to be reliable and committed as the project will only work if the children build up a rapport with the volunteers.

Training for this Area will include:

• Child Protection
• Games and songs
• Ideas for activities
• Health and Safety
• Communication skills
• Teamwork
